The following points should be noted during the use of composite metal foil:

Surface cleanliness and number of pinholes: The surface of the composite metal foil must be kept clean and free of oil and dust. The surface tension should reach 72mN/m or more, which can be verified by distilled water test. The number of pinholes should be controlled within a certain range. For example, for aluminum foil with a thickness of 9um, the number of pinholes should be less than 100 holes/square meter, and the aperture of the pinholes should not be greater than 20um.

Storage conditions: Aluminum foil should be stored in a dry state and avoid long-term storage to prevent moisture absorption and oxidation. It should be used as soon as possible before use to avoid moisture absorption and oxidation.

Expansion joints and joint treatment during installation: When installing composite metal foil, a 1-2 mm expansion joint should be reserved to prevent deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction. The overlapping width at the joint should not be less than 15 mm to ensure sealing.

Maintenance and disposal: Check the surface oxidation regularly. If the oxidation area of the metal layer exceeds 30%, it should be replaced in time. Waste should be classified and recycled, and the metal part can be smelted and recycled.
